December is a month full of celebrations and events and, my personal favorite.....amazing decorations. It is also the month that seems to fill up quicker than any other; its the first week of December and my planner is already overflowing with invites to receptions for work contacts, holiday events for Grace and all her activities, and of course family gatherings.The house is decorated.....just don't look at the bins still needing to be brought back into the basement for storage. And definitely dont look closely at the shelves --- haven't dusted in weeks.
But at the end of the day, when I see the little man playing with Christmas train toys and Grace making sure we are moving that candy cane along the advent calendar, I smile. Because even in the craziness that surrounds us this month, life is just perfect.
