Diagnosis Unknown

Doctors spend a million years in school and then a few hundred more as residents. And finally, they actually get to be practicing docs.

Why then, after all those years of practice and schooling, can they not figure out what is happening with Hubby? Seriously, where is House when you need him!?

Hubby has been at the hospital since Monday morning with high temperatures. The highest is 104.7 but every 10-12 hours, he gets a temp of 102 or 103. And you can see it coming each time. The color drains from his face, he starts to sweat but he is shivering. And 45 minutes later, he is at 102. At least he is efficient...isnt climbing slowly....if he is going to get a temperature that high, he is going to get it fast. And then spend the next 3 hours trying to break it. It makes no sense to us or the docs.

And so, another day sitting in the horribly uncomfortable "guest chair" in his room. Watching his temp go up and down and up and down. But at least they have wireless internet here.

Just to show you that he is, in fact, okay, just feeling crummy....here is a pic of our family dinner time this week. Exciting huh?

I think the real question on all our minds is - how is the Bee Movie on night 5?

Grace looks like she's all smiles. At that age a hospital must feel like a huge new world to explore. I hope you get some answers soon.
